About Rotary Club Of Belgaum.
We are delighted to invite you to the first ever Youth Festival by Rotary Club of Belgaum. Rotary Club of Belgaum, established in 1941, is a 82 year old club with a tradition of community service, bearing a rich history and a legacy. Projects undertaken by our Club tend to be long cycle projects that keep on giving back to the community over decades. This being the main intention to start with a Youth festival in Belgaum for Colleges.
Rotary KLE dialysis center
Rotary KLE dialysis center is one such humanitarian project at KLE charitable Hospital Yellur where in the costing for the patients is only Rs.900 per dialysis which is the lowest in Belgaum.
The Rotary Eye Bank
The Rotary Eye Bank, in association with Netradarshan, is another such effort that aims to give sight to many by storing cornea under world class storage methods.
The Rotary Skin Bank
The Rotary Skin Bank, in association with KLE. This is a project that reduces the chances of death from burn injuries by providing skin cover to heal such wounds much faster.
Wise Rider Project
Wise Rider Project – To create awareness about safe driving amongst the youth and community at large.
Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW)
Sleeping Children Around the World (SCAW). Through this program we distribute 6 to 7 thousand bed kits to the deserving children from in and around Belgaum every year.
Happy School Project
Happy School Project aims to improve standards in 40 schools around Belagavi in rural areas
Rotary Hygiene Facility (Toilet Blocks)
Rotary Hygiene Facility (Toilet Blocks) to cater to the need of the citizens of Belagavi and visitors to this city.
Rotary BIMS Critical Life Support Project
Rotary BIMS Critical Life Support Project at Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences which was completed within 2 months after the Pandemic to equip Govt Hospital with state- of-the-art Ventilators and Rapid Disease Testing Machine.
The Rotary - Annotsav
The Rotary - Annotsav - Last but not the least we have Annotsav which is our signature project which is conducted for 10 days, which is our main source of funding for most of the above mentioned projects.
About Rotary Youth Festival
So what is in it for the students, to attend another Youth Festival.
This youth Festival is an amalgamation of Literary, Sports and Cultural Events. Finer details regarding the events will be available at www.jjws.in/ .
Winners of each event will be given Cash Prizes and most importantly an opportunity to perform at the Annual Annotsav event (Food festival), wherein they will get more opportunity to show case their talent to a larger crowd and get better recognition.
#JJWS will be a yearly event with a General Championship Trophy. This General Championship will be awarded to the institution which has performed exceptionally well in all activities of the Fest.
We believe that this will be a great platform for your students to showcase their talents and further get recognition locally at the yearly event of Annotsav.
