Group Dance-Group

Eligibility Criteria:

• The contestants should be only students .

• The participants are required to adhere to the deadline of application.

•  All contestants must be enrolled on/before the closing date of application.

• All contestants should submit their id cards of college and attach the copy of permission letter from college .

Rules of the event – Group Dance:

• One entry per college.

• It is a team event. A team can have 8min – 10max members.

• Time limit is 5-6 minutes for each performance. Negative marking for exceeding the time limit. Deciding factor at 2nd min.

• Choice of songs is open to the participants.

• The participants are requested to bring the songs in the pen drive only and should be shared with the coordinator of the event before hand.

• No props will be provided by the coordinators. Participants can carry their own props. No dangerous props to be used on stage, such as fire & weapons of any sort.

• Dance performance should not convey any indecent gestures.

• Green room would be given for changing purpose.

• The participants will be judged on the basis of their rhythm, formation, synchronization, expressions, and costumes, makeup, setup and overall effects.

• Decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Evaluating Procedure for General Round & Final Round:

• Out of 10 points : Garment meets the competition theme/ eligibility requirements.

• Out of 10 points : Appearance, fit, and fashion ability.

• Out of 10 points: Modeling and presentation skills, poise, and grooming.

• Out of 10 points: Formation/ sequence/ coordination of the team.

• Out of 5 points: Starting and closing of the performance.

• Out of 5 points: Music selection with the rhythm of walking.

• In case of Tie, judges decision is final.

• Management decision is final.
